Subscribers to Amazon’s Prime Membership have access to Prime Now, a service that delivers more than 25,000 household products, grocery items, and other essential goods within two hours of order placement. Prime Now deliveries are executed by Amazon’s own distribution channels. There are more than 180 Prime Now Hubs worldwide, which are stocked with products that are more likely to be ordered for expedited delivery, such as snacks, baby needs, or phone chargers.
The orders are delivered by a flexible team of independent consultants who sign up for shifts through the platform Amazon Flex. Amazon is actively expanding its partnerships with restaurants, local shops, and grocery stores to offer customers even more Prime Now options.
